Analysis for school magazine

Greenfields school conforms to the codes and conventions of a school magazine. the font is soft and simplistic and follows a colour scheme of all white, therefore the text also stands out from the dominating image.

As school magazine it is predictable for the main image to be of  young children, representing the pupils of Greenfields school. the mise en scene of their make up is childish, with black spots on their noses as they are dressed up as animals. Their positioning is huddled together as a group and their cheeky smiling facial expressions suggest their age and conform to the codes and conventions of the magazine.

The front cover also includes an advertisement for a production of a play by the school, demonstrating some of the extra curricular activities of the school. the school logo is shown, illustrating the identity of the school and what the school uniforms would be branded with.
Sub images establish the school, more students and a advertisement of the school ski trip.
